If we were to pick our favourite type of room, Signature would be it. These special retreats are a dream ticket if you’re longing for a super-soft duvet and too-many-to-mention extra little touches. With bigger beds, swish decor and the clutch of benefits that come with the Signature Experience, we think they’ll be a winner with you, too.
A fabulous Warners hotel weekend in Nottinghamshire, close to Sherwood Forest and set in lovely grounds evening in cold February weather.
Our room was in the historic part of the hall, 2 floors below the still working bell tower.
It was large, high ceilings and well furnished and had a beautiful view over the fields. The bathroom was light and had a bath and a shower cubicle.
The food was amazing, and the bar and entertainment was great fun. A highlight activity was the Walk with Owls and Hawks led by Phil.
Stayed for four nights. This was the first holiday I had had on my own since my wife died last year. Wasn't quite sure how I would cope on my own, but thought that if I could do it anywhere, it would be at Thoresby. I wasn't disappointed.
I was well looked after, the food was excellent, the room comfortable, although Room 702 does have its drawbacks, like the bath being positioned in the middle of the room making showering impossible unless you lie full length in the bath.
Thoroughly enjoyed the week, no complaints about the food or the quality of sleep.
This is the first time I have stayed at a Warner Hotel, I have always been a little worried that it would be full of 'oldies'. How could I have been so wrong!
The accommodation was beautiful, the food varied plentiful and fantastically presented. The staff were friendly and informative, especially Layla in the Bistro on Saturday night. The Spa was lovley and a real experience, again the staff were informative and friendly
The only downside to the visit were to be honest the people, I heard people complaining about the way a steak was cooked but never mentioned it to the waitress a woman complaining about a meal that clearly said Basil mash on the menu, eating half of everything on her plate and then deciding that she wanted something else! I dont know the staff managed to stay so cheerful and pleasant
I loved my stay and will certainly be recommending it to frends and family.
I have just got home from a day at Thoresby hall hotel spa booked as a birthday treat from my mum. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can not believe ive not been before now as ive passed it numerous times going to Thoresby market!
Id never been to a spa before and thought it was great how we could plan the day, we used the gym, had a swim, steam room and sauna. Lunch was fantastic in the italian restaurant, great range of fresh starters to choose from and help yourself, lovely main and selection of cakes! Staff are helpful and friendly.
After lunch we had a stroll over to the courtyard shops and were impressed with the selection of unique handmade glassware and range of gift shops.
I had a wonderful facial and aromatherapy massage in the afternoon then the day was over all too soon!
I would definitely return if just to have a wander round and look at the shops, i would love to stay the night at the hotel, its a fabulous place set it beautiful grounds.
