As part of our annual trip we made it to the beautifully historic Thoresby Hall where we were met with stunning grounds, courteous staff and luxurious rooms! As part of our trip we had some time in the spa and enjoyed the evening entertainment! To top it off we met Phil who runs the 'Falcons of Laxton' we were able to wander around the grounds while having the privilege of 'manning' our birds of prey. All in all it was a fantastic break and I'd like to add it is for all ages.
The walk and privilege of handling birds, information was brilliant. As a large group of women we planned ahead and Phil was so accommodating. No one was left out, disabilities and all considered. Would thoroughly recommend such an experience, it made my weekend and still smiling now!
Just returned from a 2 night break at Thoresby Hall. Very impressed, we had a signature room, very clean, very comfortable. The food was excellent plenty of choice. Beautiful location, fascinating old building we many delightful features.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Special mention to Scott our waiter who took some jipe from my husband but was so polite and helpful.
Very comfortable lounges to sit and relax if one didn’t want to watch the entertainment. The spa is worth a visit, unfortunately the swimming pool had a fault and the water was somewhat chilly.
All in all a very relaxing, enjoyable couple of days.
This is my.second excursion into the Warners leisure hotels world this one just for an over night festive party. It has to be said that Warners really have got the short break stay off to a tee. Great venues, great service and good food all presented by good staff. Well done Warners will see you again in the new year at least one of your very good hotels.
This is the first time I have stayed at a Warner Hotel, I have always been a little worried that it would be full of 'oldies'. How could I have been so wrong!
The accommodation was beautiful, the food varied plentiful and fantastically presented. The staff were friendly and informative, especially Layla in the Bistro on Saturday night. The Spa was lovley and a real experience, again the staff were informative and friendly
The only downside to the visit were to be honest the people, I heard people complaining about the way a steak was cooked but never mentioned it to the waitress a woman complaining about a meal that clearly said Basil mash on the menu, eating half of everything on her plate and then deciding that she wanted something else! I dont know the staff managed to stay so cheerful and pleasant
I loved my stay and will certainly be recommending it to frends and family.
